What you do.
- Design and development of scalable backend systems and services using Java and Spring Boot
- Building and maintaining REST and GraphQL APIs for modern web applications and digital platforms
- Designing and implementing microservice architectures with a focus on scalability, resilience and maintainability
- Integration of external systems, databases and third-party services
- Ensuring high performance, security and reliability of backend services
- Close collaboration with frontend developers, DevOps, UX/UI design and project management in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
- Continuous improvement of code quality, architecture and development processes
What you bring along.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a backend developer with Java and Spring Boot
- Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Hands-on experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems
- Good understanding of software architecture, clean code principles and backend design patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git) and modern development workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset and team-oriented working style
- Very good written and spoken German or English skills
