Experience Designer – UX

We are looking for an Experience Designer – UX to help us craft digital products and services that deliver outstanding user experiences. Your role is to champion the customer, ensuring their voice is heard at every stage of the process. You will ensure that a client’s business objectives are aligned with customer goals and that the approach taken delivers value to both.

You will play a key role in defining and improving the customer journey by combining user research,interface design and usability best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams,including product, engineering and delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of human-centered design and the ability to translate insights into compelling experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Development of a UX vision and strategy that combines user needs with business goals
  • Planning and conducting user research (interviews, tests, analytics, etc.)
  • Carrying out UX and competition analyses
  • Designing user personas, customer journeys, experience maps and information architectures
  • Prototyping and iterative tests
  • Conducting and moderating workshops (e.g. ideation, card sorting, journey mapping)
  • Presentation of concepts to customers and as part of pitches
  • Contributing to the definition of MVPs with a focus on user and business value
  • Design advocacy internally and externally
  • Mentoring of junior UX designers

About You

  • At least 2 years of experience in UX design or a related field
  • Very good understanding of user-centred design principles
  • Experience with common design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
  • Experience with agile project methods
  • Confident in moderating workshops with clients
  • Knowledge of accessibility and responsive design (WCAG)
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • High level of self-organisation and quality awareness

Nice to have:

  • Studies in the field of design, human factors or comparable
  • Experience in design thought leadership
  • Experience in mentoring
