What you do.

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies (technical, content, offsite) aligned with the client's business objectives, working with content and PR teams
  • Own strategy KPIs, monitor strategic roadmaps and analyze SEO performance to gain insights and adjust tactics
  • Establish standardized SEO processes and mentor team members, providing guidance and knowledge
  • Supporting the sales team with SEO knowledge, contributing to pre-sales activities and client pitches
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, tools and Google updates and using this knowledge to improve client strategies
  • Manage workload, meet client deadlines effectively and delegate tasks to teams or managers as required
  • Sharing updates and expertise with the wider team and contributing to the implementation of ISO27001 where appropriate

Knowledge and competencies.

  • At least 4-5 years of SEO experience in developing and managing SEO strategies with budget responsibility
  • Experience in managing German and English speaking teams
  • SEO knowledge with deep understanding of content and offsite pillars
  • Advanced experience in SEO audits, including keyword research, technical analysis, crawl budget optimization and content strategy
  • Proven ability to communicate with clients, confidently present strategic plans and understand the brand, goals and target audience
  • Adept at using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog and Accuranker
  • Improving processes and evolving search landscapes, including AI-driven changes
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Amazon SEO and experience with TikTok search
